Ok, had a game last night with the family, and an interesting situation occured. I am up on the Crown laying waste to the rest of the family when the wife hits me with a spell, the name escapes me but result was I had to roll as if I was at the temple. Now, for question #1) If I had been enslaved, would I have had to roll a 4,5, or 6 in order to cast the command spell, otherwise lose a turn? Or, since I am not moving, simply stay there and cast unimpeded??? Which brings me to question #2) What happens if you cast a hex spell on the crown of command while someone is up there??? Since you don't move while up there, do you lose one life per turn for the full three turns that the spell is in effect???
The way we discussed #1 was that yes, you are in fact enslaved and can't cast the spell until you roll the 4,5, or 6, then reroll for the casting...
But wait, that brings up another point... While on the CoC, with the Reaper in play, should the person on the Crown roll to see if Death moves??? That could be just downright evil... Kill someone while up on the Crown with Death...
In any case, what a wonderful way to bring a family together, playing a game where the object is to kill the rest of the family...
) that is what we decided on... Have to break free before you can cast the spell... A nice (if lucky) way to delay the inevitable and hope something breaks free...
Midlife crisis averted...
