Actually, I suspect the change to charge has more to do with the Monkeys. The Monkeys have fast, and Markus has charge, which transfers to a squad. This creates a squad that can move 2 extra squares, one for fast, and one for charge. I suspect they didn't want to have both abilities give you an extra square of movement, hence the removal of the extra square to charge.

And yes, while charge has become weaker, it still provides something you would not be able to do under normal circumstances. Perform a double move and still attack that round. I imagine that this can be a boon to the Luther in tight, indoor scenarios were it's 5cm Flak is difficult to bring to bear.

I understand this but all that could be solved by some ruling about not being able to combine charge with fast. Second thing is that in new rules in monkeys case there is no difefrence in fast versus charge Markus and monkeys should share same basic skills for consistency sake.

With Luther charge problem is that you exchange 0ne square of movement for - 9/1 dices vs class 2 infantry & 2/1 vs tanks.

If this is all because of the gorillas, they should have handled THEM differently, instead of messing with an established ability and screwing up both the Luther and the Loth in one go.

Maybe by just not giving Marcus charge? :/

Think I'll be rearming my Loth, it was bad enough getting outmanouvered by AT infantry in the first place, it'll now get totally crucified by anything.

I'm thinking of allowing the Luther and Loth to keep on using the old Charge ability, and any new units will use the revised version.

The Königsluther has some looooooooooong barrels and he seems rather large by himself too.

Anyway I love this beasty.
