Bug Order token And Collaterall

By ArturiStellare, in StarCraft

Collateral is too strong : it must be modified as destroy worker, destroy installation, destroy one building or one module. it must be modified because if someone attack me and destroy my base i can t build any units to regain my territory or someelse.

If a player put an order on my 4 he can make units make research and attack me before i can make something so if destroy my base immediately with collaterall i can t buy nothing after i have waited him. It is a tattical disastered bug. In the pc game if i m at a time x gaming with equall situation of units strenght is not possible that i stop all of my action to make to surpass me from the other player and lost all as a poor idiot.

So i decide to not use never order stacked but we play with order unstacket.

You can always mess with his orders as well, or try alternate planets (stacking all four orders on the same planet just calls for trouble - although it means you will get plenty of event cards, too). Anyway, you should try getting a second base early on in the game. There's plenty of event cards that can help you as well, and if all else fails, you can still try to negotiate, or persuade other players to kick the offender off his back border planets. Additionally, you can (re)build new bases quite easily, and if you have an air defense module (which you should ASAP), he'll need an attack module and have to sacrifice a transport.

Really, it's not so much a bug as a tactical possibility. One that can easily backfire, too.

About unstacked orders - if you want, you can house rule it like that. Myself, I think that stacked orders might be annoying for some, myself I love how they actually bring tactics into a tactical game. It's one of the best mechanics that Starcraft has, particularly because due to them it's possible to screw with each other's plans like that.

But, I do have friends who don't particularly like playing Starcraft. Their reason? If you fail at the game, you know it's only your own fault for not thinking of something. The luck involved is so minimal that it barely influences the outcome of the game. I love that, they hate it (although I don't always win, not by far, so it can't be that).
