Black Fire Pass: Take a good long look, 'cause those Dwarves are on a boat!

By Doc, the Weasel, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Black Fire Pass is now listed as shipping.

Woo! and indeed, Hoo!

Only 6-8 weeks to go then...

Right on! More cool stuff!

Wonderful!

I look forward to the box.

This pleases me.

Gitz wants more greenskins!

If there is one thing Dragonlance taught me back in the 80s, it's that dwarves hate water and boats.

I wonder if they did discuss dwarfen navies. Afterall, they were a very big part of the Man O' War warhammer supplements. Ironclads, nautilus, etc. were kind of neat. Makes me wonder if it wouldn't be an interesting variation to my WolfShip scenario. An ironclad infected by a SPOILER plagueship has potential. Might be more interesting as a twisted abomination of Tzeentch instead though.

Unlikely. There's only one dwarf navy and it's located in a very specific location (Baruk Varr, IIRC). Not many ships in either the BFP or the Reikland. They could of course release a Baruk Varr book at some point.

Bottlenecked areas make such sweet places for scenarios :) Now you've got me thinking about the underground river from Tilea to Kreutzhofen, Empire and what a dwarf steamship might encounter in those caverns....hmmmm :)
