Back from the void: Dwarves no longer rule??? Oo;

By Darthvegeta800, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

As the title says... i'm back from oblivion. Have been keeping up collecting cards but haven't played in ages. Though after my exams i'm going to do some games.

I read on the forum here that the Empire suddenly is superstrong? Oo; How come? The Dwarves were insanely powerful last time I checked and I didn't see anything indicating it changing much.

Regarding Chaos and Dark Elves, what is the opinion on discard/sniping decks and corruption decks? Are they strong and intuitive or still lagging behind?

Dwarfes really suffered from the restricted list (check the last faq) and don't have that strong 1st turns from before are but still good playable I think. Even before the retricted list I thought that empire was close to dwarfes but they got really strong because of the Visit the Haunted City quest. They also got some great additions with Rodriks Raiders, Knights Panther and Hidden Grove.

Dark Elves have some nice milling, discard and slave themes. The problem or deck building challenge is to maintain enough pressure or defense against the opponent while attacking his cards. Didn't play a corruption deck since ages but chaos got great sniping additions with Plague Bomb and Sorceror of Tzeentch. The Sorceror is so good that he is played even in DE or orc decks. They finally got a decent 2 cost building and have some nice development control overall now wich helps in this development orientated cycle.
