We was playing Base game + The Sacred Pool and got a few questions that I wouldn't mind clarifying.
1. One player had to discard the Warhorse after losing a battle (played as the Dread Knight) and was instructed to 'discard' the card. Now because this came from the Stables deck does this get put straight back in or is it removed from play? I ask because the Talisman rule state (Page 16) 'Talisman and Purchase Cards are treated in all respects like Adventure Cards, except that instead of being placed in a discard pile when not needed, they are instead returned to their appropriate deck'.
Now I've looked at the Sacred Pool rules but can't see any line that is similar to the above regarding the Stables deck. Are they returned to the Stables deck instead of discarding? And is it safe to assume in future that any object deck that is 'free to look through' is treated in the same respect?
2. Sword Of Truth.
Rules:
Weapon
*No evil character may have the Sword Of Truth
*Add 1 to your Strength during Battle
*If your attack roll is lower than your opponent's attack roll, you may change your attack roll into 6 as a result.
I was equipped with the Sword Of Truth and was fighting a psychic combat. I rolled a 2 and the Enemy rolled a 4. Because this is a psychic combat could I still change my roll to a 6? I ask because I am not 'using' it in the respect that I'm not gaining the +1 bonus. To sum it up, is the last rule of this weapon usable in both battle and psychic combat?
3. Fighting 2 Enemies at once - one of which was a Wrathborn.
So There is a Dragon (Str 7. Encounter #2.) and a Wrathborn Knight (Str 4. Encounter #2) on a space. The rules state that I would fight these as one adding both Strengths together (Str 11.) and rolling only one attack dice. Now this is simple enough, until you factor in that Wrathborn creatures have a special rule that if their attack roll is lower than it strength then you roll 1 die and add the result to its attack score.
Would you have to follow this rule? How do enemies special rules work in the event that it is fighting alongside another creature
So lets say that the attack roll was 3, firstly would that roll have to be lower than the combined Strength (11) or lower than the Wrathborn's Strength (4)?
We played it that the roll was based on the Wrathborn's Strength and not the combined Strength. So the attack score ended up being 19 (11+3+5 from that additional die roll).
What might happen if there was a multiple combat with 2 Wrathborn type creatures? Could there be a scenario where you may have to roll 2 additional dice?
