Personal Story Allies and Paranoia

By Musha Shukou, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

If Jenny Barnes or Hank Samson passes her/his personal story, the pass card becomes an ally. Does this get discarded if they ever get the Paranoia madness? Likewise, if an encounter tells them they must discard an ally, do they discard this pass card?

Another question, simply for confirmation. On the turn following the turn that an investigator gets arrested, he stands back up in the main area of the Police Station. But that's it, right? He doesn't have an encounter there as well?

does not

Like Tibs, I've been playing that the investigator does not get an encounter, based on the rules (p16) (my bold)

The player completely skips the next turn, simply standing his investigator marker and placing it in the main area of the Police Station during the Movement Phase. The player may act in the following turn as normal.

That's exactly how I interpreted it as well. It's just there's always somebody that argues against it. Thanks guys.

Oh, I just didn't realize that there was a written answer for it.

No problem :)
