Rubble...

By Carlos Castaneda, in Tannhauser

I've a doubt: when a bomb explodes on a circle that has got a rubble token (or a rubble icon) yet, will you add another penalty of movement with another rubble token?

Well there is a slight issue here, in the old rules you only counted the top rubble token, so if you threw a grenade on top of a previous rubble token it was still only one penalty, further if you threw a grenade on top of a double-penalty, you could reduce it to a single-penalty.

But here's the rub, this is not in the Revised rules or the FAQ, and if fact I have yet to anything in the new book about how this would work.

Soooo, hum. I tend to fall back on the old rules whenever I run into a situation that the new rules don't seem to address.

I've sent an email to FFG for an help three days ago, but I haven't still received an answer.

I added all penalties given by each rubble token and icon, but maybe it could be better to cosider only the greatest panlty (if present). I haven't thought to the old rule.

Thanks Miah.

I'd like to know the official rule by FFG, I hope they anwer me sooner or later.

Hiyas!

When in doubt, I always follow the new version of the rules.

If there's no "visible" rule for this, then I'd default to the rules for rubble (in the new Revised book).

So, don't you use rubble tokens at all, or do you consider only the last (on the top) added rubble token ?

I'd go by the default rule, whichever it is.

If it's "put a rubble token on the circle," I'd do it.

If it says otherwise, I'd do it.
