That Dragonland board looks amazing, can't wait to find out what dangers lurk there.
And Felicia Cano, her stuff always looks brilliant, same with these two character. Dragon Hunter looks like a bad ass dude, and the Dragon Priestess looks all lovely and evil. Very impressive, but then again Felicia's artwork is always stunning.
The tower looks amazing on the board
It's also funny to see all those slaves who are going to the dragon mines...
The Dragon Tower by Ralph Horsley:
Sweet =)
The picture was better at a whole, when you can see more of the tower, more depth.
Not to keen on the forced perspective on the minotaur though (tiiiny legs and huge shoulders), looks like some X-men comic.
So, the girl who first was thought to be a dark elf who might be a conjurer is flying around with butterflies and flowers around her?
Is she still a conjurer then, or some kind of elemental, sacred pool-thingie. We already have the Sprite. Pointy ears anyhow.
Anyone notice that Ralph's cover was finished December last year ??
Yes, but comparatively in the publishing world, sometimes a book cover is finished (or begun) up to 7 months before a book is released. I wouldn't read too much into it, though a whole year is a puzzlingly long lead for art on a product release.

"Below is the initial sketch, in the background of which you can see the Dragon Rider character. Whilst she features in the game it just seemed too confusing to have an additional Dragon on the scene - and she got dropped."
Nice, I guess this confirms that not only is the Dragon Rider is in the game, but that it's a female as well. Which also means that the big dragon figurine is not one of the Dragon Lords, but the Dragon Rider itself.
Nice to see the dragon rider in the backround, but i think that it's good that they have drop that image on the original box.
