Officially announced for Q3.
Makes me wonder if FF will go straight to Arcana Exxet after this or will do Core Exxet first (I think Core was done first in Spanish, right?)

Arcana Exxet cannot be pubblished without Core Exxet, because it already uses the Core Exxet ruling (although the third web complement allows its use with the previous rule set).
I wonder if they can just combine arcane exxet and the new core exxet? From what I've heard core exxet is mainly just errata added to the book, a new combat formula to replace the table and the arcane magic change.
Does the new Core Exxet just nullify the GM Screen? I just wonder if some of these purchases I made are gonna be obsolete soon. Is there any way they can just release free updates to bring the old core book up to speed with the changes?
Try to look the web supplements on spanish site.
They are in spanish: the 3° should had what you want, if I undestood right.

Didn't knew that. I being tempted to buy the books in Spanish (Spanish being my Natural Language) but I always being afraid of the exchange rate, exchange charges by the bank, shipping cost and delivery time*.
*Yes I know they will get here faster than FF can translate them.
A very good point of buying spanish rulebooks is that they should have less errors (some errors happen during translation, like Duk'Zarist having +3Regeneration instead of +5 and Daimah having +1INT and POW, while they have not), although Dominus Exxet was full of them anyway (hopefully only in the pre-rolled techniques section)...

I doubt that they will do that. FFG is translating the game not modifying it.

Other than removing the combat table and some other minor changes, the GM screen remains valid.
And what about the little book with GM screen?
Even in revised edition the Combat Table is fully ok. Simply put, they wrote down a formula that allows you to calculate the outcome without having to look at the table, but if you have the table right in front of you, so much the better.

Nothing in Core Exxet invalidates any existing material. All that changes will be the levels of some Secondary Abilities.

Actually, they didn't. It looks like that on first glance but they actually didn't quite replicate the underlying math*. On saying that, none of the base stats change so it doesn't invalidate any of the existing material.
*Giving everyone an effective base AT of 2 in the new formula isn't the same as the "no damage if MoS is less than 20" in the old table.
Sorry about that...It seems I'll have to look at it more throughly.

No probs. For all we know the designers thought they were doing just that
The important thing is that all the changes made in Core Exxet work off the same stats as before, so no book is invalidated by it.
If its of interest, FRPGames is listing Those That Walked Amongst Us as a September release: http://www.frpgames.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=75842&ref=news
They are normally pretty accurate at any given time. My guess is October in terms of being on shelves.
I see Those that Walked Amongst Us has mysteriously disappeared on the latest update to the Upcoming List. Hopefully its just a mistake and I have sent an email to FFG Customer Service for an answer.
Good eye there... It also says click to buy but there isn't an option to buy it... what the hecks going on?
And it is now listed as being printed and en route to warehouse. That means it should no more than 2 months away from stores!
Wow that book is going fast
Awesome!
I wish FF did the character journals but I think we will see Core Exxex first.
Personally I want the Arcana Exxet, so skipping to that as fast as possible would be cool.
But SWEET, finally a monster manual! (OK not really, but close enough)

Arcana Exxet and Core Exxet need to come out together or Core Exxet first, as otherwise Arcana Exxet will be difficult to follow as it used Core Exxet's 4 tier system for its spells.
Does core exxet have rules on how to convert from 1 magic system to the other or did they just redo the entire magic system with the new 4 tier system?
