Usually other's beat me to this but it looks like Daemon Hunter has gone green. I am looking forward to this book.
Daemon Hunter Has Gone Green
I'm feverishly, deliriously excited about this book. Will the Dread Baby Carrier be statted and -- even more importantly -- have a requisition/renown cost for it, or will it just be "GM's discretion?"
Since they're "Ascension level," and its mainly a DH product, does that mean this will be the first time evar that you'll be able to take a rank 1 char (presumably psyker) all the way up to space marine status? If so, don't astartes need 10 year olds to turn, and doesn't that mean I'm going to be playing Anakin Skywalker IN SPACE if I want to have someone become a GK without starting with a ton of free XP?
Is the whole "the Grey Knights kill one million plus little kids to make one GK" going to be acknowledged as factual in this book, and if so, where do they put those giant mountains of dead kids afterwards? Will GKs still be totally okay with daemonhosts, daemonswords and sorcery as they are in the 5e codex?
Hmm... what else. Who will be the more hax at the daemon killing, an ultrasmurf librarian with Word of the Emperor (who can eventually Push to deal 13d10 damage in a huge area to daemons) or a grey knight? Will GKs be all they're cracked up to be? Will Ascension Grey Knights have billions of DH psyker powers? Will they be better or worse at the psy than a primaris psyker?
Oh, and of course, roleplayingnesses... considering Vindicares, who were thought to be mind-wiped or raised from children like Grey Knights, can apparently hang out with the guys and so forth in Ascension, I wonder if it will give the same "just roleplay however" attitude with Vindicares, or will it emphasize the raised-from-kids-and-mind-wiped stuff for GKs that it failed to do so for Vindicare? Can love bloom?
And what about the non grey knight dudes that might be in there? I'm hoping for the Culexus Assassin.
