FedEx screwed up my shipment...

By arkhamresident, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

...but that's how I found out my GF is a secret geek!

My copy of Lurker was due to arrive today but it ended up getting shipped back to Tennessee by mistake. Before I even thought to reach for the phone to call their customer service she had already grabbed my phone and was going through their automated service. After the first customer service dude she spoke to ended up being no help she called back and spoke to someone else. I never thought she'd be so annoyed about me NOT getting a new game. She's still kinda peeved we can't play with the expansion until tomorrow but I think she'll be okay. happy.gif

I might be able to exploit this and get her to make some Cthulhu tissue boxes or coasters or something...

Excellent. She's been infected.... I mean, indoctrinated... No, that's not right. Corrupted?

Well, whatever. She's coming into the gamer fold anyway. Muwahaha!

Changed.

The package arrived today but three of the reckoning cards are discolored due to a print error so they're effectively marked since it's on the back. sad.gif We've recently decided to play with the gate markers upside down until the gate is entered but with the moving gates I don't see how we can do that without keeping all the gates stationary. If anyone has a workaround I'd appreciate it.

We've played with gates face down since I first bought AH. For moving gates we just leave them stationary until they are revealed, then they start moving. >=D

Makes things a little bit more exciting, I think. You jump in a gate and then it starts wandering around while you're gone.
