Deckbuilding question

By Cypress2, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Simple question about building a deck:

If I have 3 different versions of the same unique character (in this case, Melisandre), they all count as the same card, right? Like I can only have 3 total melisandres in my deck at any given point?

Also, how does that work concerning gameplay? If i have one version of her out, and get another version in my hand, I'm assuming that I can attach the different version as normal, but its text box is treated as blank.

You are correct.

Yes. This applies even to cards of different types, like some of the direwolves. The restriction is based only on card name.

You assume correct. :)
