Has anyone thought of how sweet a program like Strange Eons for Arkham Horror would be for Cosmic. That way we could print out homebrew aliens and cards that matched the base set. Just my opinion though. I know some people don't like printing out things, but I would love to see something like this released.

Those people can easily be taken out behind a shed and SHOT.
Bring it on! I haven't the slightest idea of what the Strange Eons thing is (is it here at FFG?), but it sounds awesome-riffic.
Strange Eons is a fan-made program for Arkham Horror which allows you to accurately create new parts for the game (pretty much anything). Also, it balances most of the components to let you know that what you're building is in line with the creation rules used by the actual designers.
A program like this doesn't seem necessary for Cosmic, beyond the layout of the cards. Blank PDFs would likely do just as well. The thing with Cosmic is there's not really a rating system of powers, and many of them aren't necessarily "balanced" in the same way as cards in other games.
Is there a URL for Strage Eons? I'd love to check it out.
My reason for wanting a program to do it is so we can have clear, concise cards. Using pdf's would take a large number of files, if you are replicating what FFG has done. For instance, just the variations on the timing strip would be a lot, never mind as which player you can use it, mandatory or optional, and color level. Same goes with flares and artifacts. I would like something simple with on/off toggles to set it up.

I just sent him a request for a CE version on his feedback form:

SE is a *great* application tool. Not sure what else I can say, besides if you play Arkham Horror, and have game ideas, you *must* download this! (:
I agree, Cedric... it's a pretty awesome application. I've created quite a bit of fun stuff for my AH set. I definitely look foward to the idea of a CE-based one.
