First off, I love the game, it's settings, lore, characters, details.

I hate the setup time required before actually playing it!!!!!

Last sunday we played a game and decided to do a campaign, the one in the Daedalus book with the Gevaudan map. We sat at the table at 6:30pm and started playing the game at 20:00pm!!!!!! 1.5 hours to setup everything?!!!?!

Sure there's lot to choose from, characters and their pack take a lot of time reading them but hell, 1.5 hours is a lot of time. Just so you know, I have every tokens and equipment cards in separated bags for each characters so we don't have to search through everything.

Is there any ways to shorten the setup?!!?

I'm sorry, I think there isn't a fast way. You could try to write on paper the characters chosen (and their relative packs too), so the next time you will have the base by which start the modifies, I think it could be a little faster.

Equipment Cards quickens the setup considerably. Sorry, I forgot this important suggestion because I've E.C. since four days only.

I haven't played that scenario but, on average, our games' setup time's been between 10-30 mins. That's two teams of 3 heroes & 2 troopers. Including the bidding for mercs & optional figures for factions & special tokens.

I like very much Scenario Mode, but it's fine Domination and Objective Mode too.

I play all modes, but deatchmatch.

Setup time takes upt to 15 minutes, sometimes less if I play Reich, as I know all stuff I want to use. WIll take more time when I try out matriarchy, simply have no clue about the packs and have to read them again andf again the whole time.

It is all about knowing your armies

Once you are comfortable with your hero/trooper combat packs you wont need to re-read them on every setup and it will go MUCH faster.
