The rules state that you can have only one hero per zone.

So its possible to have the same hero in different zones ?

There are no rules that specifies anything about relics.

Can you have more than one copy of them in play at the same time ?

No you can't. Heroes and i think als relics are unique. The little sign right before the name indicates that.

Check the rule book. Yes both players can have the same unique card in play.
