June 12th Joust in NJ

By ScottieATF, in 3. AGoT Organized Play

All Things Fun in Berlin New Jersey ( 25 minutes east of Philly) will be holding a joust tournament at 1 PM on Sunday June 12th.

We are all new to the game, from various CCGs or Table Top Wargames, but the game has caught on rather quickly.

Also there is an AGoT sub-forum as well if you are interested in saying hello.

Great to hear there's organized play sprouting up in NJ, but I don't think I'll be able to attend; hopefully some of the Philly/DE guys can check it out.

I'm from Delaware. I'll try to come.

Two more may join me from Delaware.

We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for inviting us. See you next month.

I had a lot of fun, Hope to see you again next month. Hopefully a few more Delaware guys will come with us. Thanks for welcoming Darrell and Myself....jack

Everyone who posted in this thread:

The DC/MD/VA, NC, DE/PA, NYC, and Boston players have a Google group that we use as a listserv for AGOT event announcements on the East Coast -- many of the people subscribed don't frequent the forums, but do play often enough. So I encourage each of you to head to the homepage for a group and request an invite so we can get you NJ and other DE guys on and announcing events, should help your turnout a bit of you have tournaments like this in the future.

Wow, I didn't realize there were any other players in New Jersey other than people right outside of New York. I will try to make it to one of your meetups if I am ever free on that Sunday (unfortunately, I am usually not free on Sundays : / ).

Is that the same Darrell who used to play the CCG version at Between Books years ago? I used to play with that crew. Good times. I might have to stop by some time and see the LCG version in action.
