This seems like a simple question but I can't find an answer to it. The two different abilities on Seafarer's Bow (KotS) make me thing that all attachments do kneel when a character does, but it became a contested issue so I thought I'd ask.

I would think the two different abilities on Seafarer's Bow would make you think that attachments do not kneel when the attached character does....
All cards stand and kneel separately. Attachments do not kneel just because whatever they are attached to kneel - or stand just because whatever they are attached to stand, for that matter.
In general in this game, unless the rules tell you to do something, you don't do it. So the fact that the rules don't say "when a character kneels, kneel any attachments on it" tells you not to do it. If you assume something works in a particular way and you can't find the rule confirming it, the answer is "it doesn't work that way."
