here is another alternative tourney format. its a extra-fun variant based on the "not my own deck" format (see different thread).

i ask you to comment, criticize, make suggestions, ...

Crap-Tourney

The basic idea is to build a deck as bad as possible, while following the guidelines below so that it still has a chance to win. Then, everyone at the tournament puts their decks into a pool and you use a different deck every round (never your own deck). Each round, you receive the tournament points from the games you play plus the points that your deck's opponent received that round (so the worse your deck does, the better). If your deck gets a bye, you receive the points it gets.

Normal rules for LCG Joust tourneys apply with the following additions and alterations.
- For the pairings between rounds only the player´s tourney points are counted.
- Each player has to check the number of cards in the deck before each round.
- Each player may have a look at the deck before the game starts (no longer than 5 minutes)
- Deck building guidelines:
-- each deck consists of exactly 60 cards.
-- highlander: you can only put one of each card into your deck.
-- all cards match the house card or are house specific.
-- no agenda allowed.
-- the total of the 7 plot cards has at least 20 printed gold income.
-- one of the plots has a claim of 2 or higher.
-- the deck has a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 40 characters.
-- the deck has a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 locations.
-- the deck has a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 attachments.
-- the deck has a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 events.
-- each card in the deck must be playable. For example: if your deck contains an “Ironborn only” attachment, you have to add at least 1 character with the Ironborn trait.
-- the deck has a minimum of 5 characters having a printed intrigue icon.
-- the deck has a minimum of 5 characters having a printed power icon.
-- the deck has a minimum of 5 characters having a printed power icon.
(one character may not be taken to fulfill more than one icon-requirement)
