i have a question concerning ambush paying with influence.
cards with the ambush keyword can be put into play by using influence as a cost. so does this mean that you can use locations with effects like : reduce the cost of the next card by 1" , to pay less influence. or can you use these effects only for gold costs...

Look closely at those cards. They all say "to lower the cost of the next card you play this phase by X."

As you said yourself, Ambush lets you put the card into play by kneeling influence equal to its printed cost. "Put into play" and "play" are not the same thing, so these locations don't even apply to the cost you pay for Ambush.

If you have doubts, take a look at the card True Queen's Harbinger, which specifies that it works with Ambush - making it pretty clear that without that specification, it doesn't.

However, in general, reducers only work on gold costs unless otherwise specified.
