It seems like there are several players trolling this board in the Los Angeles area, but I'm not sure if I've ever asked about San Diego in particular? I've got a steady group in San Diego that loves the game. We're super kick back; 90% normal, only 10% geek. If anyone of you guys are ever down here, PM me and we'll set something up for sure.

What area of San Diego?

The handful of players I know live all around San Diego, so we usually convene at my house which is central (just about a mile east of Qualcomm Stadium), located in a nice neighborhood, and most importantly has a nice big room with a nice big gaming table. We generally play on weekends, especially Saturday afternoons/evenings, but could probably swing a weeknight thing too. I'd love to invite you over sometime for a game or two. Interested?

Yes, though I won't be around for the next week. I have the core set and have messed around with it. I have yet to play a game. About me: I'm an older person just returned to the scene after having played Squad Leader, Kingmaker and other games in the 70's. Big fan of BSG show and looking to play the game that I understand get the feel of one major theme of the show--paranoia--across.
