GenCon Indy 2009 Event Submission

By schoon, in Dark Heresy Gamemasters

My Fellow GMs:

Event submission at GenCon ( www.gencon.com/2009/indy/ ) starts on the 21st. So, for those planning to make the pilgramage to Indianapolis, it's time to start thinking about your events!

I will be running several events of varying length, but I certainly hope to play in at least one as well - and that depends on someone else running games, so don't let me down! gran_risa.gif

Sorry, wento GenCon once, didnt like it. Ill be doing the Origins in Columbus Ohio thing this year. However, I must get one of my acolytes to go to GenCon so I can get Rogue Trader.

Good luck.

I'll be running a four hour Dark Heresy game or two at Gen Con this year under the gaming group the MU Skulls!

Is there anyone at Fantasy Flight I should speak with regarding prize support for my game or is that something they are not interested in?

See you at Gen Con!

Well, there was this from the WoW forum...

Are you an FFG fan? (of course you are, you're on this website) Are you planning to be in Indianapolis this August for GenCon 2009?

"The Best Four Days in Gaming" takes place August 13-16 in and around the Indiana Convention Center, and FFG will be there in force, with a giant booth and nearly everyone in the office making the trek down to Indianapolis for a long weekend of gaming fun!

We are looking for a few highly-motivated gamers with the ability to demonstrate our new and classic titles in our booth, as well as run games in our event room. Please contact Erik Lind at [email protected] for more information.

Well, thank you very much for the help!

I never heard back from Erik, does anyone else have any other contact information about submitting Gen Con events?

I have submitted two Dark Heresy events for Gen Con 2009 under the title The Emperor's Tithe.

On the front page of FFG, down on the very bottom left in very tiny letters is a contact link that you can click on and maybe you'll get some info from that.

Its also possible that Eric is simply gathering information, and once he has a handle on what exactly is happening at Gencon, he'll send out a blanket e-mail to everyone who sent in information as to your next step.

I kind of wish I could go to Gencon this year, simply to pick up Rogue Trader and anything else FFG had to offer (since I'm almost totally only playing DH and WHFRP right now) but unforutunalty I'll be moving from Japan to Arizona around those exact dates, so Indianapolis is way to far away for that.

I've submitted two Rogue Trader Demo games (under the title Betrayal ), one regular Rogue Trader game (under the title Imperator Gratia ), and the third installment of my ongoing campaign ( Emperor's Heart Part 3: Book of Law ) for Dark Heresy .

It ought to be a good con!
