Before shuffling your deck during setup, remove up to 12 Chain attachments with different titles from your deck and place them on The Maester's Path.
You cannot win the game if there are any Chain attachments on this card.
Response: After you win a challenge, attach 1 Chain from this card to a character you control.

can I remove 3 copy of the same attachment?

for example: 3x Copper link, 3x Appretience Collar, 3x bronze link, 3x pale steel link, 3x lead link, 3x tin link?

(in this case 6 chain attachment with different titles but a total of 18 cards)

That's it. You cannot remove more than 1 copy of the same attachment because of this limitation. Keep in mind that 3x Copper Link are 3 different cards with the same title and so on.
