Has anybody heard anything about the Big Huge Patch Tournament that is supposed to take place.

When will it be, where will it be?

Also what happens to those that cannot make it to that certain tourney?

Yes, its give to most them 9 extras cards to trade. and more to the winner. And thats calculating that the card is not going to be a staple, and thus, going in more than one deck from those players. Also, somethimes, during a fairly long time, people tend to exagerate the value of cards (SoC by exemple; which now is pretty esy to get)

also, this is assuming they don't just give out anything as prize support.

i so sad i can't make it. i get nothing for my patches.

Both answers are correct : The patches serve no purpose UNLESS you go. You can still trade, but you get nothing if you can't, and have to trade for said promo. If said promo is tradable (since it hasn't been spoiled).
