The Emperor Protects help

On the stony sleep on pg 79 it says whoever touches the sigil will be blah blah blah, where the hell is the sigil aquired?

Beginning of page 72. It happened to me too :)

Ok, what about th map at the end and the location in writing, where the hell is the monolith field? or the idol room? Or the starscape alcove? Also is the inside of this place supposed to look like, at onepoint is says smooth black walls, here and there is golden circutry, but in other parts it looks like the pcs can see out into the barrier (the power matrix room is way confusing)

Yeah, I'm having the exact same issue. I am at my wits' end trying to figure out where those exact locations are on this unfortunately woefully under-detailed map. Anyone know where the monolith field, or the idol room, and the starscape alcove are supposed to be on the Tomb Map?

Also, on which island is the Tech-Priest with the Algorith Purifier? Overall, A Stony Sleep is a great idea for a mission, but lacking in some details and clarity.

a) Northern part of the Transport CIrcle.
b) and c) are the 2 small platforms connected to the Control Device platform.

That's my guesstimation, at least.

Thanks AK, I appreciate the help! Btw, have you run the stories in TEP yet? If so, how did it go?

Mine was a Total Party Kill.
The players didn't destroy the power matrix , so while they were escaping some necrons killed them.

Oh, and the librarian managed to summon a demon prince..

No, not yet. I'll either run Price of Hubris or Shadow of Madness (GM Kit) next month or so. I'm looking forward to PoH but after the 2 demo missions, I don't know... too much Tyranids.

Alex

Ours went ok, the pcs didnt even try to shoot the control device, they wnt straight for explosives so that whole combat was pretty moot.

Exactly my sentiment too, just too many tyranids. Ok, the sector IS getting overrun with these buggers, BUT there has to be other immediate dangers needing the assistance only marines can solve...?

Bingo. I ran the two demo missions followed immediately by Price of Hubris. Highlight of PoH for them was fighting the Diablodon, since it wasn't a 'Nid. Now we're in Stony Sleep and somehow, through a combination of my own misdirection, the fluff going against it, and probably their own hope, my players have almost convinced themselves that there aren't any Necrons coming. On a side-note, for anyone who's already run Stony Sleep, I have two questions: one, was the fight under the Cenotaph against the cult particularly dangerous for any other groups? One of my players almost lost a character, and they missed with the lightning projectors every time after the first- even though I buffed their Ballistic Skill. Second question, how dangerous is the optional encounter with Drahj?
