Good examples of Carapace armor?

By HeavensThunderHammer, in Fan Art

Hi All,

I'm fairly new to RT and WH40K, and am curious: What exactly would be a good example of carapace armor? I own all of the RT books, so a page reference would be cool. I did try a google search, but I just couldn't seem to find a clear cut "THIS IS CARAPACE ARMOR" link. Something like that would be cool.

Thanks!

Right at the start of the armour subchapter of the armoury. there is the one guy holding a hellgun and a power sword wearing carapace armour. Hes your standard Cadian Kasrkin (Stormtrooper).

This is an an example of the older and generic stormtroopers:

The carapace armour, doesnt necessarily have to be a bulky and clunky affair.

Thanks, this is very helpful! I probably should have gone to the wiki, but didn't think of it.

For storm troopers, I suspect a lot of the armor is under the fatigues for camo purposes. Try looking for pix of arbites they wear their light carapace with no fatigues.
