A question about the use of the NPC starship actions and orders on page 114 BFK: Does Target Lock (improving the BS of a NPC ship, simulating all the actions PC's can take to increase their BS) affect the precision of NPC torpedos?

In my opinion, it does not, as torpedos are not affected by any extended actions to boost their accuracy ( page 7 BFK ). Is this interpretation correct?

Torpedo's are Fire and Forget weapons in that sense, once they're away from the ship the targetting cogitator arms and it will attack anything in its way. A target lock wouldn't make sense if the torpedo's are not controlled.

Now I can imagine someone making a case for guided torpedo's and a target lock...
