Genestealer stats

By Watch-Captain Albus, in Deathwatch Gamemasters

I would like to create an adventure around a genestealer cult, because I love how they can remain hidden in the workings of an Imperial city/planet for years before they come into the open.

But the problem is, I can't find any stats for genestealers, nor a geneastealer patriarch or magos. I am als wondering what stats I should take for genestealer Hybrids.

Now, I was thinking to extrapolate myself some stats from and old Warhammer 40k Armies codex I have at home. But perhaps you guys have any useful ideas?

If anything, there are too many genestealer stats!

There are some in the free online sample adventure, and they are also statted in The Emperor Protects and the 'monster' book for DH, whose name escapes me right now. There is also available for free down load a 15-ish page guide to Stealer cults with full stats for DH. Although I can't remember where I found it... Dark Reign, probably.

Thanks, Siranui.

My "emperor protects" book only arrives tomorrow (mail order). I was not sure that there where genestealer stats in that book. I will also download the free adventure and look into the Dark Heresy material.

This is great and helpful! If the kill-team's game that I will be GM for turns out good, perhaps I will make a nice game report for you all.

TEP doesn't detail the other cult creatures closely, but you can get stealers and brood lords for sure. Given their stat line you should be able to make up the rest.

Note that the Genestealers in TEP are pretty brutal when put up to most player characters.

Yeah, the TEP Genestealers are the toughest of the three sources. In ascending order, I'd rank them FS > CA > TEP. FS Genestealers are simplified to be used with the basic rules of that scenario but can still hurt. Personally, I like the TEP version simply because it's incredibly deadly and forces the KT to be more strategic since they can't just directly hack their way past a Genestealer (without reeeaaaally being lucky and/or getting torn up quite a bit).
