Zorka's attack...

By Carlos Castaneda, in Tannhauser

If Zorka have no character in any adjacent circles, can she attack the "void", the "emptiness" just to use magnifire effect by Voivodes?

As I understand it character adjacent to Voivodes are considered "adjacent" to the magnifier, for attacks.

Right... right, well: I'm very dazed.

The maginifier works as follows:

EITHER use it as a Close combat attack by Zor'ka. To initiate a close combat attack, a model must be adjecant to an enemy model.

OR use it as a close combat attack, but instead of hitting a character adjecant to Zor'ka it can be used to attack someone adjecant to a Voivode.

You cannot, under any circumstances initiate a close combat action against an empty space, so no, you can't just hit the floor with the magnifier to hit all models within 3 spaces ... which is stupid in my book, logically she should just be able to bang the stick in the ground and create electrical tremors, but she can't :(

However, using her mental pack is probably the best use for Magnifier domination, since you get a little range on the maginifier attack because of the item that allows her to move a Voivode up to 5 spaces before the action resolves ... this is very nasty since you get to decide where Zor'ka wants to hit without putting her in harms way ... I love Zor'ka.
