to indicate which expansion they came from. I'm probably going to end up permanently mixing cards in at some point, but I'm pretty new to the game (3 weeks since I got Arkham Horror, just purchased "King in Yellow") and want to seperate during cleanup for now.

I wish that the expansion markers on the front of the cards were more distinct. But, that's not going to happen either ;'D

Meh, the cards aren't so much the problem. It's the monsters that bug me. Some monsters I hate drawing from the cup, and most of the original monsters from the base game seem a lot easier to take down then the newer ones with crazy failings on combat and horror checks. Personal opinion, but hey..

You can use the AH wiki to see which monsters came with which expansion. Although, if you're like me, you can see at a glance which monsters came with the base game because they're almost falling apart in the monster bag...

dont use a bag, use a box of the game as monster cup. those paper marker seems to deteriorate faster when put in a bag. cause when you put back the bag on the table/floor, it ***** the corners of monsters. Just sayin...

I keep the (cloth) bag hanging by the chair. I pull out monsters as if drawing a gun from the belt Yes, I know it probably wears the tokens up, but if I use a box the neighbors will go crazy every time I shuffle Unless I stuff the inside of the box with foam or something...but it would still take up a lot of space. Bag is just easier.
