I downloaded Pidgin, added my AIM account and gchat account, and can't figure out this IRC business...

Accounts -> Add Account -> Choose IRC (Internet relay chat) from the list.

Nickname: Whatever you want. The server will let you know if you selected someone else's...

Server: irc.rizon.net

Then type in the window /join #octgn-agot

This should now list #octgn-agot on your contacts list.

(This is from Adium which is Pidgin for mac).

To register a nickname (that is reserve it on rizon)

/msg NickServ REGISTER password email

It will send an email with verification instructions. This only reserves a nick, and allows you to boot someone using your nick.

I couldn't get wippen to work, so I'm on IRC.

Got in 3 games last night against a defensive siege deck. Game 2 was really quick after he attacked turn one with 3 characters, including the blackfishe and I lethal counter assaulted all his guys off the board.

I'm really liking octgn and oagotcard.org's ability for me to take lists from one and export it to the other. Nicely done.

You're definitely someone I wouldn't mind playing. My local meta(cleveland, oh) consists of 1 other hardcore gamer and 2-3 other part time players, one being a dragon deck guy who never wins but won't admit his dragons suck and another guy who is quoted as saying the starks live too far south for his tastes. So any way to play different people is nice. Went 9 plots with my tully deck today against a martel/summer(fhornmikey) deck before my opponent got disconnected with me at 9power and him at 8. He'd have won I think, he stopped my blackfish card draw, so I stopped that card with eddard and then he stopped eddard with a 2nd card. That turned the tide. No draw for me and 2 +2 str attachments for him.

really depends on the time of day, but people do definitely pop in and out and look for games in here (I also try to sit in there as much as I can, just so someone else is in there).
