Closing Gate

Hi everybody,

i have another question. An investigator returns from the other world an have an explored marker and he doesn´t want close the gate at the next encounter phase, for example he will wait for an other investigator which have an Elder Sign to change, what have he to do? Nothing or he get a card from the deck or something else.

He just have to wait. He has nothing to do, except dealing with monsters. He can't have an encounter.

I'll just add to what Hugues said, that a gate replaces the location for the time it stays open. So for example you can't draw encounter cards if you have an investigator emerge from a gate and wait there, and you can't move there if, during an encounter in another place you may choose to move into a different place or street area.
