Articles - What would you like to read about?

By Konx, in CoC General Discussion

Hi!

As some of you may have noticed, I wrote an article for CoC LCG that has been published last week.

Another article about Resourcing is on his way: I'm not sure if it will be accepted or not (in the latter case I will post it here).

I don't know if you think that those kind of strategic/game theory article are useful (and, to be honest, I'm not sure that I'm the best person to write about these subjects :D ) but, if you think so, what kind of subject would you like to read about?

Here are something I'm thinking to write about:

- basic deckbuilding: I've seen in a lot of forum some requests for advices on how build a deck so I think this could be useful

- metagame analysis: after the regionals, I would like to collect as many lists as possible to compare them and make some analysis on the pure numbers

- card interaction: point out some nice interactions between cards and maybe propose a decklist

Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks

Konx

Personally, I would love to pick other people's brains about the metagame and card interaction. For instance, the Peaslee combo had never even crossed my mind, but there's been other things that I've thought of independently (will post some other decks soon!) that other people have found interesting.

Deck building should really be covered and in depth if possible. If after playing this game for several years I have a hells of a time building a deck and I can't be the only person.

Thanks for that article, by the way. I enjoyed it and think it will continue to be useful to players for some time to come.

I've been struggling with what I perceive as an imbalace between the factions. I'd really like to read some thoughts on what each faction does well, and how they can be brought into play to counteract and compliment each other. Admittedly, this would be a hard article to write, but at this point I'm building Agency only decks that eat the rest of my decks' lunch and I would prefer to believe that I am missing something important rather than thinking that the game has slid way out of balance.

On that note, it might be nice to have an article discussing the differences in attitudes between casual and tourney play, as I think most of us approach these two contexts very differently in strategy and deck-building.
