MN was 24 people by itself? I am not sure I have seen the results of DE then. Where can I find that?

Yeah, MN was 24 people for the Joust. I have not seen a house by house breakdown of DE yet.

Someone please post that when you get a chance. I think Kubla could have 30-40 show up this year.

I posted the DE info on my blog over at cardgamedb.com Here's the House/Agenda breakdown. I didn't get the Restricted Card breakdown because I posted the info during the middle of the tournament.

Stark-2(Maester,Brotherhood)
Lannister-3(Maester, Winter)
Baratheon-1(Knights)
Greyjoy-2(Winter)
Targaryen-2(Summer)
Martell-2(Knights)

Here's what I know of the Restricted cards from playing the decks and deckbuilding

Stark/Brotherhood-Fury of the Wolf

Martell-VB

Martell/Knights-VB

Lannister-Castellan

Lannister/Maester-Pyromancer's Cache

Lannister/Winter-Fear of Winter

Baratheon/Knights-Narrow Escape

Neither Targ ran restricted Cards to my knowledge. Both relatively new players with limited card pools.

So that leaves Twn2dn's Stark/Maester and the 2 Greyjoy builds without the Restricted card. Twn2dn built the Greyjoy/Winter and Stark/Maester decks so he should be able to tell you which RL card they ran. The other Greyjoy deck was also by a new player with a limited card pool so may not have run a RL card.

The GJ winter deck at DE ran Fear of Winter (no surprises there).

Martell - 14 - 27%
Lannister - 11 - 22%
Targaryen - 9 - 18%
Stark - 7 - 14%
Baratheon - 5 - 10%
Greyjoy - 4 - 8%
Neutral - 1 - 2%
Grand Total - 51

I'm interested to see how Kublacon and the Missouri regionals affect these results. Both of those events have a chance of hitting 30 participants, which means they will more heavily weight the overall percentages. Plus, both of those events are later in the regional season, after people have a chance to either netdeck or tech accordingly.

Interesting to see no siege agenda yet.

We did a head count for Kubla last night, and counted 28 (Chico, SoCal, Bay Area, and Sactown metas).

This doesn't include new players, people we forgot, or people from other metas we don't belong to.

We are looking at 30-40. I think there is no way we have less than 30.

I'll remedy that tomorrow.

My decklist is in the other thread, and it has Val as a restricted card.

I look forward to the house breakdown report.

Just to confirm, we've had four regionals so far, right? Here's what I have for the recaps (joust only):

DC: Finite wins

DE: Twn2dn wins (allegedly b/c Finite didn't attend)

MN: Maester_Luke wins

NY: Finite wins

Did I miss any? Thanks!

Despite your clarification of Joust only, I'm going to list myself as winner of MN regional since I was the one who got to come home with the trophy and first round bye at Gencon. Yes, gratuitous pride forces me to do so, but since the Joust was only half of the MN regional, we play within the rules of each event, right?

Thats what I have, yeah. I haven't included NYC in the stats yet. I will do so after Kubla when I have more data to give out.

Seriously though, this is more for my own internal record-keeping. Melee is a whole different animal, and I was looking more at what won joust games rather than who (though I asked "who" above, just because I thought it was a bit easier/clearer than *what*).

Don't worry Dobbs, I'm sure you'll win another event soon enough. In fact, I really hope you do. Otherwise we're going to have this Finite guy, whoever he is, bragging about how he was the only person to win two regionals.

Is dobbler playing in any other events this season other than Kubla?

~Hey no hate for the large hat avatars. You know what the ladies say about men with large hats ;P

He was overall champ at the MN regional, and has his own regional a few weeks after Kubla. So, yes :)

Just for clarification, did FFG confirm first round byes again? I hadn't seen that on the original regionals announcement... and given my incomplete participation of late, I wasn't familiar with what reward Regional championships brought come GenCon.

~And what does it say about emphasis, if you only get the first round bye in Joust. > :D

I'm curious to hear from the Europeans if they do anything like this at Stahleck... personally I liked the free event entry and "seeding" rather than a bye.
