Queen of Dragons expansion set - Temple of the Graces card

By Aertes, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

I write beacuse of the abscence of the mentioned card in the mentioned expansion set.

SInce the initiante set for LCG games of thrones (basic box) includes 3 copies of Easter Fiefdoms and only 2 of Temple of the Graces, i supposed that Queen of Dragons Targaryen expansion set would bring the last Temple of the Graces to complete the maximun of 3, like it was done with Stark and Baratheon expansion sets. But here's my surprise when it only brings more copies of Easter Fiefdoms, wich i have no use for since i alrady had the basic box.

Is this a mistake?

Interesting information. I wasn't aware that Temple of the Graces was omitted from QoD. This seems like an oversight to me. I doubt most regulars of these boards would mind, because we all tend to have multiple core sets anyway, but for newer players who have just one CS, this is definitely an issue.

I agree that it probably shouldn't have been omitted, but I'm glad that by its omission we got another (different) Targ card. Temple of the Graces is not necessary in a Targ deck - Targ loves it some influence! (All the different types of limited locations fit better in different houses theme and overall strategy, and Targ loves influence more than gold.) For Targ, 2 Temple of the Graces is probably enough, especially now that River Row is out. In my Targ decks, I usually start with River Row, Street of Steel, Street of Sisters, 2x Temple, 3x Eastern Feifdoms, 3x Summer Sea, 1x Khal Drogo's Tent as a "base" resource set, and add in a few special locations. What do others play in their Targ?

Remember that the expansion box decks are supposed to be playable more-or-less "as is." With only so many cards that could be put in and 3 different 4-cost Ambush dragons, I highly doubt putting in influence resources instead of Temple of the Graces was an "oversight" rather than a conscious resource management decision.

Targ already gets 3 Eastern Fiefdoms in the Core set so Targ didn't need 3 more of those in QoD, so yes, it was an oversight - the should have got Temple of the Graces.

Don't mistake your wanting something different than you got an oversight.

Myrish Villa is far superior to anyways.

Unless you're trying to put cards into shadows, or play neutrals. Or OoH cards. :P

I use the Temple of Graces less than any other House's 0-cost gold producing location, and Myrish Villa is much better for my decks.
