Lynx Tail verse Criminal Past

By Navitude, in UFS Rules Q & A

Simple question, probably know the answer.

Play:

1) Lynx Tail's enhace givig it -4 damage +4 speed.

2) Criminal Past's enhance for 0 life.

3) Than Fight or Fligh Lynx Tail up to eight damage.

Does the damage boost do anything to Criminal Past's enhance or no?

WHen you play criminal past, you pay half of the attacks CURRENT damage. Then you finish the ehnahce step. Then the attack is considered completely blocked.

not exactly sure what you are asking or if i answered it, lol. im gettin tired...

Yeah it works for the simple fact that when you use criminal past's E it doesn't say printed damage it just says damage of the attack. Good call aplauso.gif .

FYI Fight or Flight will not increase Lynx Tail's damage to 8 if its damage has already been reduced to 0. The damage of Lynx Tail if its damage is 0 when you play Fight or Flight will be 4.

You can not reduce something upwards.

Yo I was tired and wasn't thinking straight so give me a break. Dude he's right cause in order to get double you can't use lynx tails enhance but my suggestion is to somehow increase lynx tail to eight then do the enhance AND THEN do FoF's E ok?

Why not reduce to zero, return to printed with Tae Kwon Do Zephyr, and then Fight or Flight?

Yes that would work. Then again, the question was answered already, so can we kill this topic?

Criminal Past refers to the current damage of the attack. Once Criminal Past has been played, paying the appropriate amount, increasing damage on the attack is inconsequential; the attack will still be considered completely blocked by the effect of Criminal Past and no more vitality has to be paid.
