The first one i got 100%, 2nd one ill do my best.
Of course you can, the cost is to reveal your hand. Which you can do. If the cost was to discard however, then you could not, since you could not pay the cost.
I BELIEVE a card is played after it is:
a.placed into the card pool
b.control check is made, foundations are committed if necesary
c.other costs are paid (such as the "reveal your hand" on bitter rivals)
d. at this point the card is "played" and you begin resolving it.
Someone please step in and correct me if i am wrong...i have actually wondered this myself.
Thanks and sorry for the double topic, i 'm having problems with my net connection.
Almost 100%.
The card is not placed into the card pool until after it is successfully played.
Tournament rules: 302.2 the player reveals the intended card to be played from their hand.
The rest follows as mentioned with the card entering the card pool once it is successfully played.
thank you
apparently i cant just say thank you or the computer yells at me that my post is too short.

can't think of anymore.
So if i'm playing Kazuki and i want to play a Flames of Disaster, i have to play the foundation for the effect of putting a token in my character? Since it states that only after i add that card to the card pool i can add the token.

You can also play it as a block.
