If you are going to run summer I think you should run at least 1 copy of Lady Daenerys's Chambers if you go up against a winter deck and they discard your black raven with white raven it is extremely valuable in getting your Black Raven back out quickly. Also again if you are running summer Myrish Villa is strictly superior to Great Pyramid.

I would add in 3x Blue-Lipped Warlock to put your Shade of the Evening on. That will net you 3 cards per turn unaffected by your draw cap if you can win 3 challenges.

You shouldn't play 3x Khal Drogo's Tent, it is unique (if you are using the queen of dragons version it has errata to make it unique) so you can only ever have one out and the others would just be duplicates. With that in mind you only have a maximum of 7 influence that you can have out in your deck and that is assuming you never discard your Summer Sea. I think then it will be difficult to pull off Favoriable Ground.

The only other things is it might not hurt to have a couple more dothraki characters, I'd think you could take out the Hired Swords as they are not dothraki and add in perhaps Aggo or Rakharo or some other Dothraki to give you more to search for when Drogo dies. Oh and also Maegi's Promise to get Drogo back after he dies is nice.

I agree with a lot of what Darksbane said. I don't think Power of Arms is that useful in this deck since you have 7 War crest characters, 3 of which are 6 STR already and hopefully don't need the extra STR. Its an easy way to bump Khal Drogo's STR if you are preparing for his death, but you could probably find a better plot. I feel like you are a little heavy-handed on discount locations, 16 is a lot, and I would instead use Aegon's Hill and definitely 2x Rhaenys's Hill given the military power of the deck; possibly a Flaming-Pitch Tower too for some targetted kill. Not sure why you are using Building Season, I bet it's going to help your opponent a lot more than you most of the time. I would also switch out the events a bit, keep the 3x Paper Shield but not the others. Why no Blood-Crazed Screamers or plots that allow extra M challenges?

Thank you both for your feedback.

I played this deck, as posted, at the Delaware Regional and went 2-2 (Note: I did not have enough time to adjust as you both recommended). I beat Targaryen and Baratheon decks, but loss two to Lannister. One was close, the other not.

The reason I play the Locations that I played was because many are Limited (i.e, Temple of the Graces; Eastern Fiefdoms; Great Pyramid} and are not affected by Favorable Ground. I played three of the "unique" Khal Drogo's Tent because it can be an attachment not affected by Favorable Ground, it is likely to be drawn, and it has Influence. I will test fewer Locations. I didn't have a problem with having enough Influence in any game, but Favorable Ground only was drawn in two games.

I agree that the Blue-Lipped Warlock would have be helpful with Shade of the Evening.

OK. More Dothraki characters.

And, yes, I need to redo my Plots.

My Events were quite effective in all matches. What would you take out and replace them with?

One problem, Lannister had Plots to reduce claim to zero and wipe the board clean of Characters. Also, they knelt my Characters. What are effective strategies and specific cards that can counteract Lannister treachery?

To be a Dragon can be pretty effective, stand a knelt character and return a dead character to play, gives you 2 standing characters when your opponent expects none. You are using the Fury plot which fulfills the Power Struggle plot requirement on the To Be a... so you can flip it first round for the high gold and initiative and it'll be in your used plot pile for later rounds. You don't have much burn in the deck, so I don't know how effective they would be unless you changed some cards around, but the other option I really like is the new Killer of the Wounded from the Targ box. They are also Dothraki characters so they would fit your theme well.

Oh, and Fairweather Followers, since you are using Summer.
