Which of the 40K novels best represent Dark Heresy?

By Bloodshadows, in Dark Heresy

Thanks guys!

Looks like it's Eisenhorn for the WIN!

Time to head to the bookstore....

My reply might be a bit late, but I thought I would throw my 2 thrones in.

Eisenhorn was the first book series I read in 40k, and it's fantastic.. though it shows that at least Eisenhorn does more direct work with his acolytes.

and Eisenhorn is considered by most who thinks he's still alive (which as far as I know, he is) thinks he is a Herectic and works with Daemons.

Ravenor was his Interrogator, and if I remember correctly, one of the Eisenhorn books had the accident that put Ravenor in his box.

His series is more like Dark Heresy, course there is a Psycher Assassin where in the game there are separate careers, but I suppose if you are creative you could make a character in DH like Patience.

I just started reading Scourge the Heretic, because it got mixed reviews, but I really want to see how a Cleric would run because in 40 the game, you see Preachers, Confessors, Missionaries which can have some pretty good equipment, so I thought they would be cool in DH

I tried to read that old skool book.. Jaq? I tried and couldn't get into it. It's too bad cuz I like Squats :P
