Crisis card question

What a game; I'm addicted. Had a few games now so have some points/questions.

1. When a crisis card gives a choice, and one of the options involves, let's say, the current player discarding two skill cards. If this player has none or, only one even, does this mean that this option is not available and the alternative must be resolved?

2. Regarding Adama Jnr's special ability activate 6 unmanned vipers. My fellow players have agreed that this equates to launching 4 separate birds. Two actions launching the first 2, second 2 actions the vipers clear the launch area, last two actions lauches the second wave of 2 vipers. Our reasoning for this is the fact the board implys there are only 2 launch tubes. Does everyone agree with this?

3. I believe the "investigate commitee" card is too powerful if played after discussing crisis resolution.

1) You may make a "crisis card" choice like this, according to page 30, under "Choice Crises".

2) No. Apollo gets 6 Viper activations. This could be to activate 1 Viper 6 times, or launch 6 Vipers, or Launch 3 and attack with each,etc, etc, etc.

3) Do you mean the yellow card "Investigative Commitee"? If so, the only limit here is it must be played before any card are added to the check. Discussion in this game is a great part of the fun!

It's not that there are two launch tubes. There are two SETS of launch tubes. If you wanted to use this action to launch 6 vipers out into the same space, that's fine.

Okay all is clear. So the tubes mearly indicate that you can't deploy them anywhere else other than those areas. Checking the rules on launching, and reading them properly certainly helps!
