PDFs of WFRP3e Adventures

By player33475, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I am looking into purchasing the PDFs of WFRP3e adventures for use with WFRP2e. I have heard that several of the components integral to running the adventures are not contained in the PDF such as maps, handouts and certain NPC information.

To people who own the PDFs or box sets of the adventures, can anyone confirm the above? Could anyone elaborate on the missing information and how vital it would be for running it?

considering you are converting the adventures to 2nd ed, i think you can get away with not having the maps and handouts. the maps are really abstract so won't be missed. the only things that could potentially be a barrier are the storm progress track in TGS and the trackers for the party's standing among the noble families in EoN ... but considering they are tied to the 3rd edition rules you can probably get away without them.

at $5 for a pdf you get plenty of meatiness to build a 2nd ed conversion from

Spend your money on other items than those adventures. The quality is not good enough to waste time on a conversion to 2nd. There are enough great adventures out there for the 2nd edition.

I have all the adventures written for 2e and 1e. I would like to add 3e ones but given the amount of components that won't be of use to me, I was hoping that the PDF might give the adventure without components. Unfortunately, some of adventure is contained in those components, so no luck. :(
