What a fine looking platoon. Yeah, I like the snow too and like what Jiltedtoo said, by not overdoing the snow effect and keeping the weapons snow-free, I imagine the walkers crew, after harbouring for the night, did their morning field maintenance on the key essential parts, ie the weapons, before moving out for the day's patrol. I like the story your picture tells.

What I thought was cool is the added color rings painted on the edge of the bases. Red for the BBQ squad, yellow for heroes. What do you do for the other unit types? I might adopt this for my troops.

wish i could take credit for it , but i saw blkdymnd's on a game night and was throughly impressed. and for me,the guy with out a figur case yet, it makes grabing the right squad fast and easy.

and i think when/if i start runing 2 BBQ squads ill put corisponding colored dots on there cards.
