Pc custom weapons

well along the ideas of the blades i'm thinking that if the weapon is crafted from metal rather than glass you could have a blade delivery system say like a sheath where the blades are actually stacked on on top of the other sort of the way a samurai sword is crafted from many layers of ultra thin folded metal but rather each blade is unconnected from the next allowing it to slide off into the target poisoning them.

and with the blade of last stand i see a problem obviously this falls under a weapon of a suicidal cult member or such considering the blast effect. moreover i would rework this into a type of weapon sort of like a vibe spear or so where it gets stuck into a opponent so you have 1d5 rounds to get away before it explodes or explode on contact as its thrown like a volonx thunderclap.

personally i would craft a couple different weapons where its more of a ranged attack or hit and run. perhaps a bola with the three weight eing frag or krak grenades depending on your scenario where you could throw and snare them onto the ground when they explode 1d5 rounds later or more of a grenade knife where its a hollow serrated knife that can be thrown 3m or stabbed to be left to explode with a chosen grenade effect 1d5 rounds later and also removing the blade would require a strength or medicae test to remove the blade a failed test dealing 1d5 wounds armor not counting and a failure by three or more degrees would cause the weapon to explode.

a simple classical idea for accrobat oriented fighter shoes retractable mono knife. or think of the dark eldar and all their blade at shoulder, knee and so on. not terrible by themselve but collectively they hit hard because it s not the blade that is a weapon but the body. think of the most aerial and acrobat performer of the "cirque du soleil" than gives them those armored bodygloves and put they in a fight. you will see that the body is a weapon.

what should be the damage of these shoes? I like the idea

Well, I talked to my GM, and he said he might be willing to allow my DH to get "Bond Shoes" with blades forward and back. and treat them like a Punch Dagger.

Now I need to figure out how to make a "boot" where the Front blade is there all the time, but can pop out the back spike! demonio.gif So those Mule kicks can hurt

well if you're working on a pair of boots with forward and backwards blades you could go along the lines of a concealable variety for both like a switch blade or flick knife where through a spring mechanism could release the blade from the boot for either or the rear blade by putting pressure on a integral button perhaps in the top of the shoe. the froward blade could be a built in design or a retractable blade like the rear. on a side note i can see these blade shoes improving climbing by jamming into footholds say in snow, dirt, or crevices giving a +10 to climbing tests.

For the "reloadable" breaking sword concept I would recommend the "reload" speed to be no faster than FULL or 2FULL. In the very likely event that your creative kill-billy has the Rapid Reload talent then a half-action reload is reduced to a free action, which for snapping a new fragile and poisoned sword blade into a hilt that might still have broken remnants of the old blade stuck to it is pattently absurd. Keep in mind, part of the long reload time for plasma weapons is "honouring the ancient weapon" and not making the plasma-flask angry. The new sword idea is not even remotely an honoured relic, but it falls very solidly into the "don't make it angry" category and such a weapon would require a special "rearming ritual" to restrain it's explosively-violent war-spirit. Heck, part of the reload time for a lasgun is whispering the requisite prayers of rearming... (think I am kidding? Read the IIUP )

Serious food for thought: What does the Adeptus Mechanicus think of this little abomination? Having non-STC wargear that is purpose-built to break is on very dangerous ground regarding the "honour your wargear" maxim. Not saying you should refuse the crafting, as it is not that hard for a determined artisan to make some of these ideas, but there can and should be consequences when word gets out about the assassin's new toy. All it really takes is one grumpy Magos and the next thing you know there is a Secutor and a Skitarii detatchment standing in your hab-unit for a little "discussion" about faith. (Honestly, this might be a fun scene!)

Your post is too full of useful information, I am unable to cut it down to point out the points I wanted to expound on. Nice :-D

But anyway, your right, Full to 2Full to replace the blade makes a lot of sense considering that you will need to discharge the remnants of the old blade, offer a prayer of thanks to the old blade, offer a prayer of rearming to the new blade, actually attach it fully, draw the weapon again and there you go. Sooooo.... I would have to say 2Full, if he has both Rapid Reload and Quick Draw, than lower it to Full.

And the part about the AdMech / Inquisition coming after him about his heretek ways... that just sounds fun, if a player in my game wanted to do this i would totally let them.
