Since my group was still novice to Descent (myself included), it took us several hours to complete the first quest. In the end, the heroes won (I was OL), but we had such a blast I can't wait to do it again.
Steelhorns got toughness (+4 wounds) so ended up a god at 20 wounds. He took the brunt of traps and was paralyzed and exploded every time he opened a chest or door. He spent most of the game as a monkey or stunned in some other way, but provided a lot of comedy.
Lyssa got a ranged bonus skill so concentrated her damage there, also capitalizing on a skill that gave her two free surges. She inflicted massive damage to single targets, felling Narthak in 3 hits.
Mad Carthos focused on crowd control with blast and divine retribution. He was so squishy I couldn't help but kill him!
I am so glad I bought this game, I can't wait to do this again!
