Chaos: Bloodthirsty Demon and Sacrifice

By Kris77, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi,

In a situation when a Bloodthirsty Demon stays allone in the Battlefield sector, what happen next turn - is the player forced to sacrifice the Bloodthirsty demon?

The second question concerns the Sacrifice - there are many Actions triggered by/after the Sacrifice of the unit - if it lays in the power on the player to sacrifice any unit he has in any moment of the game or he need to wait for such a Tactic/Action? It is enough if the lets say quest card say "Sacrifice questing unit to..." to be able to trigger it without any extra Tactics/Actions?

Thank you in Advance.

Kris

Yes, BT eats himself in that situation.

You need something to trigger a sacrifice, can't just declare "I sacrifice unit X" even if unit X has a cool ability that would be triggered after it leaves play. Quests requiring sacrifice generally have in them the Action to trigger that sacrifice, being part of the cost to use the quest's effect. So for a card like:

deckbox.org/whi/Prepare%20for%20War!

you would be able to sacrifice the questing unit by using the Action on the quest.
