Well I am glad you and your staff managed to gather all the records of the Sheppard’s Gaze. As you can imagine the ship has more questions then answers and some of those answers are not what you or I were looking for. I you are viewing this message then I will take it that either you managed to use your great talent of using extreme force or you have contacted Virel.
I hope you can forgive me for the last Holo Recording I left for you at the bridge of the Sheppard’s Gaze. It seems a part of me just loves playing with people. I am not lying to you when I say the Merchant Captains sold great Amsec, a great vintage if I may add but luxury aside I left this holo recording for you and your staff if you or your staff managed to fix the ship.

You might be wondering who Virel is as much as I am myself. The official records have been purged for the most part but a little bit of digging in the under belly of the Lathes brought some light into some of his past. I do not claim to say that all I have to give you is true but it will be better then nothing.
Virel, was born to a troubled family in the outskirts of the forge complex. Some say that he was defective since production. This is a very odd concept but I will leave it hanging for the time being. His purpose in his organization was fated to be that of a acolyte with little potential to rise in the hierarchy of the Mechanicum. What seem to be strange is that my contacts in the Lathes tell me that at some point he started to think for himself in context. He started to make leaps of logic that were at that time in accordance to Mechanicum tenets. The leaps of logic turned him from a failed product to a gift of the Mechanicum’s God, the Omnisiah the Mechanical aspect of the God-Emperor. He was quickly put under the wing of a prominent Magos in the Lathe so that he could serve his new purpose in the cult. I am personally not sure how valid the story is, but it seems that there could be more to the background history of this Explorator.

Oh I should go back for a moment on the topic of the Merchant Captains. Feel free to contact a Nick Runeblade. He is a trust worthy individual that works for House Halcyon de Eltanin as a Weaponsmith and Arms Dealer. While I was doing some trading with the Merchant House Patrol I managed to arrange a transfer of some of my crew to the leading ship for a Merchant Exchange. He will have any updates you need on the situation with them.

Changing the subject completely, it is difficult to communicate fluidly through a holo that you will be seeing maybe days, weeks, or years later. I have to inform you that as of the recording of this holo it has been 10 standard Terran days since I arrived at the Battlegrounds and 3 standard Terran days since the Merchant Patrol arrived in system.
I wish to take up the subject of my partner in crime, I mean the Ork. As the Warp has split our voyage I wish for your house to seek sanctioning for him, as he is a very important tool of mine in my personal mission. In exchange for his sanctioning I have provided in good faith the schematics of the Righteous Path. It cost a sector’s fortune but it was worth all those thrones and favors.
It appears that the Rightous Path is an Aquilla class Grand Cruiser that pre dates the Dark Age of technology. The records are incomplete at best and are not enough to duplicate the class of ship but are good enough to navigate the venerable corridors and have a good idea of the structure of the ship.
