Thanks Jon for the write-up, was great to meet you at last, having followed Talisman Island since its inception. Thanks for the prizes also; shall spend a happy hour sleeving up.

Thanks to everyone for their kind comments and special thanks to Ell for making it all go with a swing, and in spite of engineering the Gypsy's death by Deathstalker, and the Necromancer's untimely demise.

I should also mention the cutthroat 2nd Edition game which three of us played in about 30 minutes. The Centaur and the Sorceress (followed by the Archer) were taking pot shots at each other and my Dwarf at every opportunity. Eventually Sorceress slew Centaur then poisoned herself with a Casket, leaving Dwarf victorious.

Wow I love Talisman and would definitely have come along for this, if I'd noticed it in time.

I actually did go the Expo back in 2010 and spoke to the talisman guys (yourself?) and they mentioned about signing me up for an email mailing list to keep current with Talisman info etc but I never heard back, if you could let me know who to send my details to I'd still like to sign up.

I was not at Expo in 2010 (for a multitude of reasons) but Elliott was. I am not sure what email newsletter he might have had in mind though...

An idea only. I was going to speak with you Jon about doing a monthly newsletter like you used to do on Talisman Island, to keep peeps informed about new house rules, q&a, headlines, miniature painting tips, etc. But alas I never got round to mentioning it. Unless of course you want to resurrect your news sheet!
