Murder Servitors + Teleportarium... + Barracks?

By WhiteLycan, in Rogue Trader

We all know MurdServs+Teleport is broken as hell. But would adding Barracks to that equation be possible? I mean surely you could just send a platoon or whatnot (sorry, very bad with number names like squad, platoon, etc.) along with your murder servitors, of which I don't imagine there being more than a couple/few dozen.

Ruleswise there is nothing stopping people pilin on those boni.

But id argue that a teleportarium can only handle so many people, maybe a platoon. So do they want to use 2-4 dozen murder servitors supporting the hit and run or do they want the hardened crack troops to accompany them. Both hand out a +20 bonus. But its not like the teleportarium is suddenly doubled in size if you add a barracks to your ship. For defense that would be different but for defense certain components count quite differently.

Is there any rule stating that you can make more than 1 hit and run in the same turn? The description of Hit and Run doesn't say anything about Hit and Run replacing a ship's Shooting action. Could you teleport some servitors over then run up a boat of crack soldiers? Or god forbid a 2nd set of murder servitors? And then send a Torpedo full of more servitors over? rofl

Strictly speaking there is no limitation on how many people can undertake an Extended Action, but I houseruled that only one person can take advantage of the bonus for a Component.

Honestly Errant I think it'd be better to houserule that only one Extended Action of a given type may be performed (except for BS tests if for some reason the explores have more than 1 player manning the cannons). Like only 1 put your backs into it, only 1 triage, only 1 hit and run, etc., per round.

I agree with whitelycan:

If I have more than one player that want to perform the same action, I let the player with the highest relative skill do it and let the other one assist on the roll, but I don't let them make two separate attempts.
