Rules Clarification

I have a few basic rules questions that dont appear covered in the revised rulebook or the character books in regards to gear and the single player mission.

1) Do the troopers only attack if they land on your space?
2) It states if the troopers land on your hero, they do 4 points of automatic damage. Does that mean you dont role shock/defense?
3) If Hoax is one of the heroes, does the rule stating that the troopers only deal damage if they land on you mean that Hoax would therefor only become invisible if the trooper landed on her or her clone?
4) It states that any two heroes can be used. Is this literal in meaning I can mix heroes from other teams (Yula & Hoax as an example)

In regards to the trench gun, it states that when hit the attacked fig moves back one circle but that they can't leave the path that they started on. Does this mean that if the fig is hit while standing on a yellow circle that if the circle behind them is purple that they just stay where they are?

1) I read it this way the first time too but it's if the trooper shares a path with the hero after the trooper's move that hero takes four automatic attacks success.

2) The troopers deal 4 automatic success so the hero would still get his shock roll.

3) the enemy troopers deal 4 automatic success to a hero after they've moved and if they share a path with that hero. So if an enemy trooper moves and shares a path with invisible hoax they deal their 4 automatic success' then hoax makes her shock roll. If she took any damage from that she would become visible. I'm guessing this is how it would work. I could be wrong.

4) In the setup it states that this scenario is for any faction so I'm pretty sure the heroes are supposed to be for the same faction but since it's a solo scenario there's nothing stopping you from doing cross faction combinations

5) The trench gun actually moves the attacked figure back one space for each uncanceled success. In this situation you've stated here yes the figure would not move but it would take one automatic wound from the trench gun.
