Dragons, Armies, and Dothraki, oh my!

So Who has made a deck utilizing the new cards from the Queen of Dragons box?

I want to put together a Dragon deck, but I'm just not sure of what to put in. Does anyone have a deck list that seems to be promising? Even from a casually competitive standpoint?

I have a decklist that seems to be doing okay. It focuses on dragons and recursion.

3 rhaegal, 3 vis, 3 dro

3 dany

3 of each hatchling

3 refugee

3 carrion bird

3 true queens harbinger

street waif

then i run

to be a dragon

narrow escape

ambush from the plains

dance of dragons

forever burning

mereen

benjen stark

dragon fear

maegis promise

several of street of steel, eastern fiefdoms, khal drogos tent, summer sea

the heir to the throne agenda

deck focuses on playing dragons, obviously. In a deck where dragons are necessary to win, them dying is a bad thing. Thats why i run benjen, maegis, to be a dragon, narrow escape to get them back when they die. Its done pretty well so far, but definitely has trouble with mass removal.

I have something similar but I think its a weak build right now, I had used Bays of Ice + Jhogo for additional card draw and At Night They Howl but I think the deck is still weak against burn and kneel decks. I really like the new plots though, and have already slotted them into several other decks and put Sun Stroke into a Martell build. Were you thinking a Melee or Joust deck?

I was thinking Joust.

I'm using Blue-Lipped Warlock with Shade of the Evening, and Mereen. I keep going back and forth about whether to make it a Summer deck with the crown and Kings of Summer agenda for more redundancy for draw (and tossing in Dragon Sight to go with Field of Fire)... but I haven't gotten enough games in yet to be able to tell how it is going to play either way.

Hows it work in the games you've played so far? The BLW + Shade of Evening does ensure that you will have draw, but seems pretty expensive for a 1 STR character, and it only works if you have a dead pile. Field of Fire reminds me of Lethal Counterattack and is pretty sweet against some deck types (Stark will probably hate it), but you'll need something else too, Forever Burning + Flame-Kissed ought to provide decent burn against characters that aren't committed to challenges (TLS) - the biggest problem I am having is whittling new decks down, the box is so many cards to work with! I do think Joust is the way to go with the Dragon decks, playing against multiple opponents when you rely on a few key characters seems like a good way to get those characters burned, discarded, repeatedly knelt, etc, though its nice that they cannot be Milked, Flogged and Chained, Fishing Netted...
